The questions and answers below are the most common, but please contact me for any other queries you have.

How many/what type of pets can you care for at the same time?
Animal Kingdom

My charges are for the time needed to carry out the care required, not for the number of pets.

I care for all types of family pets from dogs and cats to rabbits and guinea-pigs. From birds and fish to snakes and Giant African land snails!!

If you are unsure whether your pet is able to be cared for please enquire and I will be happy to advise.

When is the payment due and what happens if I have to cancel?

Fees for first time clients are due in full prior to departure.

For returning clients, payment can be made on return.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to the visit may result in a cancellation fee.

I accept cash, cheques and BACS payments.

Do you offer dog walks?

I can offer dog walks as part of the visit. Dogs can be exercised off-lead providing they have good recall.

What happens if my pet is ill while I am away?

I am trained in veterinary nursing and animal welfare so I'm able to recognise when pets are unwell and will always act in your pet's best interest. I carry a pet first aid kit.

During the initial meeting a veterinary release form will be completed which includes details of your vet. I ask for authorisation in advance to contact the vet should your pet require treatment.  I recommend your pet is insured against sickness, accident and injury.

I will always contact you if any injury or illness occurs.
